Yes folks, i once was 16. And 16 is an important age in Belgium. You can officially smoke, drink, drive certain motorcycles and what is more important: go to see dirty movies. In Belgium we have 2 adult ratings : KT/EA (which stands for Kinderen Toegelaten/Enfants Admis = Children are allowed) and KNT/ENA (Kinderen Niet Toegelaten/Enfants Non Admis = Children not allowed). And KNT means you must be 16 to see this movie. It doesn't matter if you are accompanied by your dad, they just need to see your identity card.

And this rating is a very silly rating. For example the first Batman movie (with Jack Nicholson, directed by Tim Burton) was banned for anybody under 16

I remember the first 16+ movie I saw (without actually being 16) : Rambo.

But I also remember the first 'adult' movie I saw, two days after I turned 16. It was called "Joy" and it was not a real x-rated movie, just some soft-porn. They did check my identitycard and I remember seeing it with a couple of friends. It was quite a boring movie, about Joy who falls in love with an older man (she has been looking for her missing father all her life), and then travels around Paris with him and his other female companion, experiencing a broad range of sexual encounters.

I thought by myself: Is that what it is all about? I turn 16 and all I am allowed to see is boring soft porn? Give me something HOT !
